...But where do the SKINNY women shop?

Yesterday, Jeff took me to Motherhood Maternity (which sells the only maternity clothing I have found to be acceptable) to get me a few more items of clothing, which were sorely needed at this point, because I can no longer fit into ANY of my pre-pregnancy clothes. We had budgeted for it, and it was nice to get cute clothes, even if I'll wear them for only a few more months. But our experience there had me wondering: "Where do really thin women buy maternity clothes?" I am not extremely slender--in fact, I'm just on the slim side of average. However, I wear size small trousers at Motherhood. I wear mostly small tops, too, although I have had to get a medium-sized sweater, thanks to some shifts in my weight distribution. So, basically, at 5'7" and 150 lbs, I am considered "small". And it's difficult to find clothes labeled with that essential S on any of the clothing racks (Maybe all the other "small" people got there before me?), but L and XL are plentiful.
Motherhood does carry petite sizes, of course, but anyone 5'5" or greater would be too tall for them.
Also of note: They do not carry brassieres, for maternity or nursing, in any size smaller than 34. Thus, any woman with a narrow back and/or small torso is probably out of luck.

So, the question remains: "Where do average-to-tall skinny women get their maternity clothes?"

I got pants at Old navy because you could order them in "long." I love Old Navy's maternity t-shirts, too, because they were more fitted. I had to wear them for 6 months after the babies, and felt like I didn't LOOK like I was wearing maternity still. You're lucky. My butt got big, and I was a L for Motherhood pants by the time I was 5 months along.

YOU were a Large?! It just goes to show that our bodies really do just change and rearrange a lot during pregnancy, because, you, Wendy, are one of the normally thinnest people I know. I think I'm just doing things oddly and lopsided. I was hardly showing at all to anyone but people who knew me really well, until I hit 5 months, and then boom! I gained 10 lbs in the matter of a few weeks. I am at 30 weeks, and I am only just now starting to put weight on my rear and thighs.
I didn't care for Old Navy's slacks in the maternity, probably just because of the styles they have this year. Their shirts were fine at first, but now my lovely size small blouses are a bit TOO small for me in the shoulders and chest.

Being a petite, I couldn't tell you.
Post pictures of your cute clothes!
Oh, and check out the beaches blanket and see if you like the basic pattern/shape.

Pregnancy weight loves me. I gained average 50 lbs with both. And it took me a year of not trying to go back to my pre-prego size, which is a 6.

Cori, who, as you know, is quite slender and tall, got a lot of clothes at Target in the maternity section or just bot stretchy material in medium-large of regular clothes for tops.

I can't believe I spelled bought as 'bot'. Time for Mia to go to bed.

The clothes must have been better at Target last year. This year, I looked at their maternity selection and hated everything: badly fitted trousers and cheap tacky jersey tops.

I am 5'1 and 110 pounds pre-pregnancy. I gained 30 pounds w/my last pregnancy and now I'm 16 weeks into this second one. Maternity pants are huge. Even Old Navy extra smalls are huge (as well as xs at target, gap, etc)! The only pants that fit are $150 designer jeans in size 26. I wish they made cheap maternity pants in smaller sizes...especially for 2nd trimester.
